Privacy Policy
Effective September 1, 2026. How we collect, use, and protect information on this website.
Contact UsProvidence Strategies, LLC ("Providence Strategies," "we," "us," or "our") operates the website at providence.llc (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy describes the information we collect through the Site, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.
Information you provide to us
When you submit our contact form, we collect the information you choose to provide — such as your email address, phone number, and the subject and content of your message. We use this information to respond to your inquiry, to send you a confirmation of your submission, and to conduct our business with you. If you provide an email address for policy updates or newsletters, we use it to send you those communications, and you may opt out at any time.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, the Site's hosting infrastructure automatically logs technical information about visits — such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages requested, and the date and time of each request — for security, fraud prevention, and site operation.
We also use a self-hosted, first-party analytics service to understand how the Site is used. It may record pages viewed, time on page, approximate location derived from IP address (city or region level), browser and device characteristics, referring pages, and interactions such as clicks, scrolling, and anonymized session activity. Text you type into forms is masked in these analytics and is not recorded by them. We do not use third-party advertising trackers, and we do not sell personal information.
Cookies and similar technologies
The Site uses a small number of first-party cookies and browser-storage entries that are necessary for the Site to function and to measure aggregate use — for example, a randomly generated identifier that distinguishes one browsing session from another, and a token from Cloudflare Turnstile, the service we use to protect our contact form from automated abuse. These identifiers do not contain your name or contact details. You can remove or block cookies in your browser settings; the Site will continue to work, though some features (such as the contact form's abuse protection) may not.
How we share information
We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only:
- with service providers that operate the Site on our behalf — such as our hosting and content-delivery provider (Cloudflare) and our email delivery provider — who may process it solely to provide those services;
- when required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or to protect our rights, safety, or property;
- in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will require the recipient to honor this policy.
Data retention
We keep contact-form submissions and related correspondence for as long as needed to respond to you and to maintain our business records. Analytics and log data are retained in aggregate or pseudonymous form and are periodically deleted.
Your choices and rights
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing info@providence.llc. We will respond within a reasonable time and as required by applicable law, including Maryland law. We honor opt-out requests for any marketing communications.
Children's privacy
The Site is intended for a general professional audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13; if you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information we hold, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date above reflects the latest revision, and material changes will be posted on this page.
